Wat Uphai Pha Ti Ka Ram (Sam Po Kong)
History
This is a Mahayana temple. So, it believes in Chinese discipline. The biggest presiding Buddha image in Chachoengsao Province; Luang Pho Toh (Sam Po Kong) is revered by many Thai and Thai-Chinese people who come to pray for their prosperity. The place is not far from downtown and Ban Mai Market.

Journey : -Private car from Wat Luang Pho Sothon, about 4 km., make a right turn from the temple and head to the intersection (sign to Bang Nam Priao District), about 1.5 km., pass Saint Louise School, the temple is on the left. -White with yellow line bus (8) starts from the new bus terminal-railway station-Property Market-Bo Bua Market-Ban Mai Market-Wat Sai Chon. This line passes Floating Goddess of Mercy Guan Im, Wat Sum Por Kong, and Wat Leng Hok Yi.

It is enshrined by Luang Pho Toh (Trai Rattana Nayok) "Sam Po Kong”. In Thailand, there are only 3 statues, one is enshrined at Wat Kalayanamitr (Thonburi) Bangkok, another is enshrined at Wat Phanan Choeng, Ayutthaya Province, and the last one is enshrined at Wat Uphai Pha Ti Ka Ram, Chachoengsao Province. Usually, on Saturdays and Sundays, tourists from Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan visit the place.
