In order to go to Chachoengsao by train, you can catch the eastern line from Bangkok (Hua Lamphong) – Aranyaprathet, and get off at Chachoengsao Junction. There are 11 trains per day as following; 1. Bangkok – Aranyaprathet line provides 2 trains per day. The trains leave Bangkok at 07.36 AM and 2.13 PM. 2. Bangkok - Ban Plu Ta Luang line provides 1 train per day. On Monday – Friday, the train leaves Bangkok (Hua Lamphong) at 06.55 AM. On Saturday – Sunday, the express air-conditioned train leaves at 06.45 AM. Travelers can get off at two stations: 1. Chachoengsao Junction 2. Peat Riu Railway Station 3. Bangkok – Chachoengsao line provides 5 trains. The trains leave Bangkok (Hua Lamphong) at 08.56 AM (only on Saturday and Sunday), 11.45 AM, 01.30 PM, 06.25 PM, and 08.00 PM. 4. Bangkok – Kabinburi line provides 2 trains a day. The trains leave Bangkok (Hua Lamphong) at 09.30 AM, and 04.43 PM. 5. Bangkok – Prachinburi line provides one train at 07.20 PM.

Chachoengsao Junction

In order to go to Chachoengsao by train, you can catch the eastern line from Bangkok (Hua Lamphong) – Aranyaprathet, and get off at Chachoengsao Junction. The first train leaves at 05.55 AM and the last one leaves for Bangkok at 06.00 PM. The trip usually takes 1 hour 30 minutes, and no longer than 1 hour 45 minutes. The Train Route: Bangkok (Hua Lamphong) – Uruphong – Phaya Thai – Ratchaprarop – Makkasan – Asok – Klongton – Sukhumvit 71 – Hua Mak – Ban Thap Chang – Soi Wat Lan Boon, Lat Krabang - Phra Chom Klao – Hua Takae - Klong Luang Peng – Klong Udom Chon Chon – Preng - Klong Kwaeng Klan – Klong Bang Phra – Bangtoey – Chachoengsao Junction Upon arrival at Chachoengsao Railway Station, there will be yellow minibuses waiting inside of the station to take travelers to Luang Phor Sothorn Temple. However, on workdays, the minibuses will be parking right in front of the station, so travelers need to walk out side to grab the ride. The minibus heads toward Sisothon Tatmai Road to Luang Phor Sothorn Temple. Additionally, there are also motorbikes and motor tricycles for hire that will take travelers to their choice of destinations as well.

To travel to Chachoengsao, apart from getting off the train at Chachoengsao Junction, travelers can also get off at Peat Riu Station. Bangkok (Hua Lamphong) – Ban Plu Ta Luang line provides one train a day. On Monday – Friday, the train leaves Bangkok at 06.55 AM, while on Saturday – Sunday, the express air-conditioned train leaves at 06.45 AM. Peat Riu Station is approximately 2.4 kilometers from the Chachoengsao Junction. The trip normally takes 1 hour and 45 minutes. The Train Route: Bangkok (Hua Lamphong) - Uruphong – Phaya Thai – Ratchaprarop – Makkasan – Asok – Klongton – Sukhumvit 71 – Hua Mak – Ban Thap Chang – Soi Wat Lan Boon, Lat Krabang - Phra Chom Klao – Hua Takae - Klong Luang Peng – Klong Udom Chon Chon – Preng - Klong Kwaeng Klan – Klong Bang Phra – Bangtoey – Chachoengsao Junction - Peat Riu Railway Station - Ban Plu Ta Luang
